Springblade patch technology

Ultra-slim relining and repair solution

Learn about our Solution

As well's mature, integrity issues and increased water production will arise, affecting the economics of the subject wells. Although conventional remedial repair methods are proven to be effective, they often result in an unacceptable footprint in the well tubular.

The Springblade Patch minimizes the footprint and leaves the well with practically full wellbore access after installation. This patch is made by rolling high-quality steel sheets and using a tailored epoxy glue to create a steel-epoxy laminate. The Isealate running tool will navigate the patch through restrictions and set the patch in the production/injection tubing into larger pipes, screens, or a perforated section.

This unique technology has been developed with support from Shell, Total, OGTC and Innovation Norway. Welltec® is the largest shareholder in Isealate and is our exclusive global partner.
